SEE-INDIA conducted it’s first international conference titled INDIA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF TEACHING AND LEARNING IN ENGINEERING AND MEDICINE (IICTLEM-2018) in Bengaluru in November 2018, in the very first year of it’s existence in collaboration with TCS. The conference was inaugurated by Prof. ANANTH MS, Ex-Director-IITM and attended to by representatives from selected organizations like TCS, Intel, IITD and few engineering colleges. As and when the need is felt, SEE-INDIA in association with an Industry Partner, an Engineering College designs a conference and conducts the same for the benefit of the community across the country. Any engineering college willing to support or hold a conference can approach SEE-INDIA. SEE-INDIA will be interested to organize workshops, Seminars and conferences based on the need perceived. Themes related to Online Engineering Education, Teaching and Learning, Industry 4.0, Engineering Education for Sustainable Development, ABET Accreditation, International Rankings for Engineering programs, Future Curricula and Skill Demands, Future Jobs and Skill Requirements, Internationalization of engineering Programs, Outcome Based Education Blended learning and Flipped Classrooms, Assessment, Marketing and Admissions, Student Management etc are the topics of interest for the community and hence SEE-India will be happy to assist any college in organizing conferences, workshops, Seminars related to these themes. Colleges who become SEE-INDIA members or have SEE-INDIA teaching-learning centers, will be offered full support to organize any event/training program related to quality improvement in engineering education.

SEE-INDIA events are characterized by Expert and efficient resource persons, extremely good communicators, least importance to pomp and pleasure, lack of self praise, ethical management, opportunity for those who have the ability to contribute. We do not indulge in self praise nor we do praise the organizer, unless exceptional performance is shown that contributes to the success of the event. SEE-India is value driven and not success hungry. SEE-India works towards a transformations in engineering education. We work for better quality and we do believe that Equality can be achieved in Quality. Colleges willing to offer Infrastructure and financial support to conduct a National/International Conference, Workshop, Seminar can contact SEE-INDIA a year ahead of the event ideally. Workshops and Seminars can be organized exclusively at a shorter notice for a college for internal consumption. Ideally, an International conference involves people coming from abroad and unless there is Quality, International experts may not spend money and time.

If any College/Institute organizes it’s own conference, SEE-INDIA will support it through ratification, if certain quality measures, values, ethics are scrupulously followed. Such events can be advertised on SEE-India’s websites too. We also support in terms of identifying right experts /resource persons for such events.
