Accreditation and Ranking

During the Accreditation of Institutions and Programs by traditional accreditation agencies , many of the deficiencies remain unattended to or covered to avoid failure at the accreditation. A successful decision in accreditation will make these deficiencies ignored forever. The process of accreditation is time consuming and the cycle times are too long. The benefits of the accreditation process can only be seen after one or two batches have graduated and industry uses them. A 6-7 year cycle too long a time for these colleges. They are very costly and at times Institutions can not afford. These accreditation agencies give little inputs to institutions undergoing accreditation process and many a time these inputs will not lead to appreciable changes to the programs or the institutions.

SEE-India offers an Accreditation that is Cheap, Quick and aims to bring in changes to various processes of the colleges that need improvement and betterment. Society for Engineering offers accreditation based on the following criteria

SEE-India experts visit your campus, observe your processes, identify the deficiencies and suggest changes to the processes based on the points used for evaluation. Any college willing to have SEE-INDIA’s accreditation, will have to fill in an Self-Study Report based on the points mentioned above and submit to SEE-INDIA. A visit will be scheduled by the SEE-INDIA Accreditation team and college will have to bear all the expenses plus they have to pay a fixed amount of affordable fees that changes from college to college based on the distance, size, number of days per the visit, size of the team and other parameters. Once the visit is complete, findings of the accreditation visit will be conveyed to the college along with necessary changes suggested.

RANKING

Many of the Indian institutions have limited exposure to the processes that will be implemented at top ranked International institutions. Even though they are in top 200 bracket when it comes to Indian Ranking NIRF being implemented by Ministry of Education, Government of India, they do not find a place in top 500-to 1000 of the world.
