CEE Academic Programs and Research

In line with NEP2020, Society For Engineering Education understands that problems Engineering Education faces in a big country like India need solutions based on synergy and research . So in order to become Leaders of Engineering Education, Indian Higher Educational Institutions have to

  1. Overcome all Insulations and Isolations
  2. Interact with top institutions across the world
  3. Learn good practice from the best
  4. Internationalize their processes, curricula, students and faculty
  5. Interact with International Industry
  6. Implement Modern Instruction Techniques
  7. Achieve International Accreditation for thei programs.

We at SEE-INDIA realized the necessicity to establish the India International Centre for Engineering Education(IICEE) that will look into the problems faced by India in Internationalization of it’s Engineering Education, Improvement of International Ranking of It’s elite Institutions, perform research related to Accreditation, Curriculum Design, Teaching-learning, Assessment, Employability, Research, Industry-Institute Interaction, International Rankings, Faculty Development and Training and other important issues.

We have acquired a small piece of land near AMARAVATHI, the Capital Region of Andhra Pradesh, India. The choice for the location of IICEE is based on the high concentration of Engineering Students in the state of Andhra Pradesh and to support thousands of Engineering students from migrating to big cities like Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad for skilling them for employment, especially for the software industry. Also Andhra Pradesh is a newly formed state bifurcated from the earlier combined states of Andhra and Telangana, where facilities, infrastructure, Industry have to be developed. IICEE proposes to establish it’s campus and a training centre where Engineering graduates can skill themselves on the software/hardware of choice with the support of the concerned Industry. IICEE welcomes software houses to support this venture so that Engineering graduates find it affordable, comfortable and convenient to get themselves equipped with right skills the industry needs.

IICEE intends to perform the following tasks :

  1. Promote Engineering Education across the world towards better Quality
  2. Perform Research on Engineering Education to find solutions for problems faced by Engineering Education in India
  3. Offer Programs on Engineering Education (Teaching-Learning, Curriculum Design, Accreditation, Assessment etc.,)
  4. Train Engineering Faculty on Teaching and Learning, Curriculum Design, Assessment, Online Teaching, Institutional Development, Internationalization of Institution and Engineering Education
  5. Bring Synergy between Societies for Engineering Education with similar goals and Intentions
  6. Act as a Bridge between International organizations and Indian Institutions
  7. Promote a culture of Quality in Educational Institutions
  8. Bring Industrial support to establish a training centre for software and hardware for human resource development
  9. Skill unemployed Engineering Graduates
  10. Build a network of Industry Partners, Individuals and Institutions to achieve Synergy
  11. Promote activities to make IICEE financially Sustainable
